Reminder: Township building closes at 3 p.m. today; no trash pick-up Jan. 1 for New Year’s holiday

There will be no Township solid-waste and recycling collection this Friday, Jan.1, New Year's Day. Instead, all Friday pickups will take place on Saturday, Jan. 2.

As with the Christmas holiday collection, these scheduling accomodations should have little to no impact on the overall collection schedule.

Should members of the community have any concerns, however, please address them directly with the Department of Public Works at (856) 424-4422, or call the Mayor's Office at (856) 488-7878.

Additionally, the Township building will close at 3 p.m. today, Dec. 31, and will be closed on Friday for the holiday. The building will reopen at 9 a.m. Monday.

Have a safe, happy and healthy New Year!
