People who eat an alkaline diet and reduce the acidity in their bodies typically experience high levels of energy.  The water ingested from foods is the best way to hydrate your organs, tissues and cells.  Melons, cantaloupe, juicy berries, pears, apples, cucumbers, zucchini, eggplant, peaches and tomatoes are all good sources and should be ingested regularly.  The phytochemicals and enzymes in fresh fruits and veggies are an added bonus and will help energize you even more.
