Free Senior Health Workshop This Friday In Cherry Hill

The Betty and Milton Katz Jewish Community Center is hosting a free Senior Health Workshop this Friday October 15 at 10:15am.

Linda Sauerwein, RN of the New Jersey Care Transitions Project (NJCTP) will be making a fact-filled, interactive presentation called "7 Steps to Managing Your Health: A Resource Guide." This one-hour workshop provides valuable tips and information about the key steps seniors can take to become more involved in their care. 

Seniors attending will be given a free Personal Health Record (PHR). A PHR is a summary of a patient's overall health, including a comprehensive list of medications. Seniors are encourage to fill out a PHR and take it with them whenever they see a doctor, get a prescription filled, or go to the hospital.
