During each facility update, the location will be temporarily closed for one business day. To continue providing service during a closure, other inspection facilities within close proximity will remain open.
Winter-weary New Jerseyans will soon be dealing with another major storm that is expected to bring heavy snow to southern and coastal areas, with lesser amounts forecast for the north.
The National Weather Service issued a blizzard warning for Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and Ocean counties today, along with southeastern Burlington County, while winter storm warnings were issued for most other counties.

The New Jersey School of Music, one of the most respected private music schools in South Jersey, with campuses in both Medford and Cherry Hill, is very proud to be able to offer music scholarships to the students of South Jersey. “This is something that we have wanted to do for several years now. This year we dedicated ourselves to getting the program off of the ground”, says Renee Sutin, owner of the school. "We are very excited. There is nothing more fulfilling than being able to provide this opportunity for students in our area while at the same time creating something that is meaningful to the community that we all live in”.

How Early Can I Start Music Lessons for my son or daughter?
As a music teacher at the New Jersey School of Music in Cherry Hill, I hear this question quite often. I usually answer with a series of other questions. Yea, I know that’s not what you want to hear, but it’s not as easy as just choosing an arbitrary age at which to start every child on every instrument.

A legislative push to legalize gay marriage is speeding up in Trenton -- and for some South Jersey residents, that's just fine.
"It's OK with me. Because that's what they feel, they feel in love and they want to be happy and they want to do it right. So hey, get married," said Douglas Perry of Washington Township.
"If you love somebody and it works out for you then what difference does it make?" said Mary Jane Linker of Sewell.
That live-and-let-live streak among Garden State voters could persuade lawmakers to vote for the Freedom of Religion and Equality in Civil Marriage Act if it's considered this week as expected.

A ten-year study, tracking more than 25,000 students, shows that music-making improves test scores. Regardless of socioeconomic background, music-making students get higher marks in standardized tests than those who had no music involvement. The test scores studied were not only standardized tests, such as the SAT, but also in reading proficiency exams.

Music study can help kids understand advanced math concepts. A grasp of proportional math and fractions is a prerequisite to math at higher levels, and children who do not master these areas cannot understand more advanced math critical to high-tech fields. Music involves ratios, fractions, proportions and thinking in space and time. Second-grade students were given four months of piano keyboard training, as well as time using newly designed math software. The music training group scored over 27 percent higher on proportional math and fractions tests than children who used only the math software.
